Oil portraits, painted to be handed down.
Commissioned portraits and fine art by Bill Grady, from his studio in Concord, North Carolina.
A portrait is a family heirloom
With 30 years as a professional artist, Bill paints parents and grandparents, children, couples, leaders, and the pets who are part of the family. Each portrait is painted by hand in oil, one at a time, with the finest materials, so it can be enjoyed for generations.
Up close
Every detail painted by hand: the light in an eye, a hand resting on stone, the folds of a summer dress.
Oil Portraits
Commissioned portraits of the people who matter most, from head and shoulders to full figure.
Pet Portraits
Painted with the same care as any family portrait, on their own or alongside the people who love them.

From the first conversation to the finished portrait, here is how it all comes together.
